Humanitarian Track
ANED Suite
ANED CRM Humanitarian Track manages every relationship an NGO or humanitarian organization maintains — institutional donors, individual supporters, implementing partners, government counterparts, volunteers, and the people in its care. It owns the funding pipeline before an award and the casework after it, and reads from the same beneficiary register and fund ledger held in ANED ERP.
Built for low-connectivity field environments with offline-capable data collection via Bomba forms, and pre-configured for institutional donor compliance and safeguarding requirements.
Track relationships with institutional donors (USAID, FCDO, EU, UN agencies), partner NGOs, and government counterparts. Donor communication history, relationship owners, cultivation and stewardship workflows, partnership agreements, funding-cycle calendar, and donor compliance profiles. ANED CRM owns the donor relationship; the donor ledger — fund segregation, restricted balances, and the financial reports the donor receives — lives in ANED ERP.
Individual supporter and major-donor cultivation alongside institutional funding. Appeals and campaigns, recurring giving and pledge management, gift collection through ANED Pay — M-Pesa and I&M bank transfer today — and tax-receipting where the jurisdiction requires it. Segment supporters by cause, region, or giving history, and track appeal performance against target. Gifts post to the general ledger in ANED ERP as restricted or unrestricted income according to how they were solicited.
Assign case workers and track case progress through protection, GBV, child protection, health, livelihoods, and shelter workflows. Service delivery checklists, referral pathways, escalation flags, and case closure with consent and confidentiality controls throughout. Casework reads the beneficiary and household register held in ANED ERP, so a case worker and a distribution officer are always looking at the same person.
Monitor funding opportunities from prospect through go/no-go, proposal development and review, submission, and award. Consortium and co-financing arrangements, reporting-obligation calendar, and partner due diligence. On award, the grant passes automatically into ANED ERP, which opens the costed budget lines and owns burn rate, expenditure control, and donor financial reporting from that point on.
Volunteer registry with skills, availability, and placement matching, plus hours logging and recognition. Community structures, committees, and local leadership tracked as relationships rather than records, with consent and preference management throughout. This is volunteering as engagement; where community and incentive workers are paid a stipend, that engagement is administered in ANED HRM.
Manage communications with donors, clusters, government liaisons, and community structures. Communication logs, meeting records, and document sharing via ANED 360 — with multilingual support for community-level engagement in 40+ African languages.
Track relationships with institutional donors (USAID, EU, ECHO, GFFO), partner NGOs, and government counterparts. Funding history, communication logs, partnership agreement tracking, and funding cycle calendar.
Monitor funding opportunities from prospect through go/no-go, proposal, submission, and award. Track reporting deadlines, co-financing requirements, and consortium arrangements. On award the grant passes to ANED ERP, which owns budget control, burn rate, and donor financial reporting.
Store and track MOUs, sub-grant agreements, and memoranda with government counterparts. Expiry alerts, renewal workflows, obligation tracking, and document version control with role-based access.
Visual timeline of all grant cycles, reporting deadlines, proposal submission windows, and donor review dates across the full funding portfolio. Integrated with ANED 360 calendar and automated reminder alerts.
Run appeals and giving campaigns to individual supporters, with M-Pesa and bank-transfer collection through ANED Pay. Track appeal performance against target, gift acknowledgement and tax receipting, and lapsed-donor reactivation. Gifts post to the general ledger in ANED ERP as restricted or unrestricted income according to how they were solicited.
Standing orders, monthly giving schedules, and multi-year pledges with instalment tracking. Automatic retry on failed collections, pledge-versus-received reporting, and upgrade prompts at renewal.
Cultivation plans for high-value individual and foundation donors, with relationship owners, moves management, wealth and capacity notes, solicitation history, and stewardship touchpoints scheduled against each relationship.
Segment supporters by cause, region, giving history, or engagement score, and hold consent and contact preferences per channel so every appeal respects what the supporter agreed to. Suppression lists and right-to-erasure handling included.
Assign case workers, track case progress through protection, health, livelihoods, and shelter workflows. Configurable workflow stages per programme type, deadline tracking, and supervisor review queues.
Sensitive case management for GBV, child protection, and legal aid. Role-based access controls, confidentiality flags, incident logging, and full audit trail per SPHERE standards and CHS data protection requirements.
Log distribution events, cash transfers, service provision, and training attendance per beneficiary. Linked to ERP distribution management for stockout alerts and real-time assistance ledgers.
Track internal and external referrals between programmes, sectors, and partner organizations. Referral outcome tracking, closure documentation, and automated follow-up reminders for open referrals.
Register volunteers with their skills, languages, availability, and clearances, then match them to placements that need exactly those attributes. Includes onboarding checks and safeguarding attestations before a placement is confirmed.
Assign volunteers to placements and log hours contributed, verifiable in the field with GPS and signature capture from the Bomba mobile app. Hours feed recognition and reporting on volunteer contribution. Where a community worker is paid a stipend rather than volunteering, that engagement is administered in ANED HRM.
Milestone recognition, service awards, and re-engagement journeys for lapsing volunteers. Retention reporting shows which placements and teams hold volunteers longest, and which lose them.
Members, supporters, alumni, and advocates tracked as one constituent base with engagement scoring, preference and consent management, and membership renewals. Programme results and IATI publication are produced from the ledger in ANED ERP.
Track participation and commitments made in cluster and working group meetings. Minutes linked to action tracking and follow-up workflows per sector, with accountability timelines for open action points.
Multi-channel community feedback and complaints management via SMS, hotline, and web forms. Response tracking and closure rates meeting AAP (Accountability to Affected Populations) standards.
Send bulk SMS, voice, and WhatsApp messages to beneficiaries and field staff in 40+ African languages via ANED Notify. Delivery confirmation, opt-out management, and scheduled sends.
Central library for grant agreements, MOUs, assessment reports, and consent forms. Version control, access permissions per programme and role, and direct attachment to beneficiary and case records.
Beneficiary cash assistance executed as an ANED Pay disbursement batch — approved as a whole, executed row by row, each payment carrying an idempotency key so nobody is paid twice. Mobile money payouts (M-Pesa B2C) are connected today; bank payout connectors are not yet built. Every payment posts back to ERP for donor expenditure reporting.
Full offline case management, service delivery recording, and beneficiary data collection via the Bomba mobile app. Syncs automatically on connectivity restoration — built for last-mile field environments.
AI-assisted proposal and donor report drafting, supporter duplicate detection across the constituent base, propensity-to-give scoring, and smart validation on field-captured casework data.
Programme-level data segregation, MFA, role-based access, encryption for sensitive protection data, and full audit trail. Meets GDPR, CHS data protection requirements, and donor data governance standards.
