ANED Suite
ANED Suite is operated by ANED Development Center ("ANED", "we", "us", "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use ANED Suite products and services. We are committed to compliance with applicable African data protection regulations including the Kenya Data Protection Act 2019, Nigeria NDPR 2019, South Africa POPIA 2021, and Rwanda Data Protection Law 2021.
Account Information: When you create an ANED Suite account, we collect your name, email address, organization name, country, and role.
Usage Data: We collect information about how you interact with ANED Suite products — features used, actions taken, and performance data — to improve the platform and provide support.
Organizational Data: Data you enter into ANED Suite products (financial records, HR data, beneficiary information, files, messages) is stored on ANED's infrastructure and is your organization's property. We process it only to deliver the service.
ANED Suite stores data on servers located in Nairobi, Kenya (East Africa) and Lagos, Nigeria (West Africa). We do not transfer your data outside Africa without your explicit consent or as required by law. Data residency options are configurable for enterprise customers with specific regulatory requirements.
We use collected information to: provide and maintain ANED Suite services; process transactions and send related notices; send administrative communications; respond to support requests; improve and optimize our products; and comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal data or your organization's data to third parties.
We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption at rest and in transit, role-based access control, multi-factor authentication, row-level security in ANED DB, and continuous monitoring via Canedo. Our security practices are reviewed regularly by our internal security team and external auditors.
Under applicable African data protection laws, you have the right to access your personal data, correct inaccurate data, request deletion of your data, object to processing, and data portability. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@anedsuite.com. We will respond within 30 days.
We retain your data for as long as your ANED Suite account is active or as needed to provide services. When you close your account, we delete or anonymize your data within 90 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g., financial records required by tax authorities).
